Founder Maia was captivated by the intricate craftsmanship of Middle Eastern jewellers and artisans during her childhood visits to family in the region. This passion for ancient cultures and designs formed the foundation for 20TAURI’s design process. Memories of long summer days, marvelling in shops and markets, wondering through a maze of shops within an enchanting old walled city in the intense heat, under a canopy of palms captivated the beginning of 20TAURI.

This experience was what sparked her drive to create modern heirlooms that have both an antiquated handmade feel as well as personal meaning and modern elegance when worn.
